When the Los Angeles Lakers finished as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. They had to wait for one more game to finish in order to know their first round opponent in the playoffs. Lakers fans thought they got a blessing by avoiding the Golden State Warriors, but that blessing turned into a curse called the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Led by Anthony Edwards, the Wolves ended the Lakers' season in just five games. LeBron James had some incredible moments, but not even Luka Doncic was enough to pick up wins. Given LeBron's age, we don't know how many times he'll get an opportunity like this again. He seems to know it, as he was crushed after the game. Thankfully, LeBron had some on the way, as Savannah James made sure to make her presence felt while LeBron and Bronny James were walking back to the locker room.

LeBron willingly gave Savannah a quick kiss, while Bronny followed later and gave his mom a big hug. It was a nice moment in such a difficult time for both players. Savannah knew exactly what they needed in that moment.

Game 5 was a tough one for the Lakers, especially since it was a close game throughout. A surge from Los Angeles in the third quarter had the team feeling like they were right in it, but the Timberwolves picked up a six-point lead with just over two minutes left that they would never relinquish.

LeBron had an okay game by his lofty standards, contributing 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Unfortunately, he was a -14 on the night, the lowest on the team.
