After 'ditching' her at the Met Gala, LeBron James returns to Savannah to get attention at another event

Savannah James stole the spotlight on Saturday night as she co-chaired the 20th Annual Hammer Museum Gala in the Garden in Los Angeles.

The highly anticipated fundraiser honored actress and activist Jane Fonda as well as artist Lauren Halsey.

It also served as a platform for Savannah to showcase her evolving role as a tastemaker, entrepreneur, and advocate for cultural progress.

Savannah co-hosted the evening alongside her friend and fellow podcast co-host April McDaniel.

The two, known for their podcast Everybody's Crazy, welcomed guests to a chic and celebratory atmosphere. But it was Savannah's sartorial statement that quickly became the talk of the evening.

Savannah donned Giuseppe Zanotti's iconic Venus sandals-crafted in black suede with intricate wraparound metallic coils that climbed up her ankles like jewelry.

"My approach to design has always been about pushing forward and creating new worlds and fantasies," Giuseppe Zanotti told WWD of the relaunch.

"Far from nostalgic, this project is a fresh chance to write an exciting new story. These are my icons and icons transcend seasons and trends.

"Fashion is about freedom and creativity - I'm excited to lead this next phase with the same energy, dedication and ion as always."

Accompanied by LeBron

Savannah's fashion-forward appearance was amplified by her date for the evening-her husband, NBA superstar LeBron James.

The gala also brought full-circle closure to Savannah's recent solo appearance at the 2025 Met Gala. She attended alone, due to LeBron's knee injury, but dazzled in a custom Hanifa gown that honored the "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" exhibit.

At the time, Savannah itted she was nervous walking the carpet without her husband by her side, confessing to People: "I just did not want to fall down the stairs!"

Savannah recently launched Reframe, a clinical luxury skincare line developed in partnership with Howard University's College of Dermatology. The brand features three hero products-a brightening serum, a daily moisturizer, and a night cream-designed for all complexions.

"It's for all skin across the Fitzpatrick Scale," Savannah told WWD. "I am a Black founder, but I thought about all people when I created this brand.

"Coming from using things that come from dermatologists and aestheticians, it's not sexy, it's not fun," she said. "We got a lot of inspiration from art, from music, from culture, from fashion."
