Cameron Brink won't be suiting up for the Lunar Owls this season due to an ACL injury in the new Unrivaled league, but that didn't stop the Los Angeles Sparks rookie making her presence felt in Miami.

The 23-year-old forward, who signed a multi-year deal with the Lunar Owls in December, will be unable to play until 2026.

Yet, Brink has committed to traveling to Florida to her teammates and immerse herself in the groundbreaking league.

"Obviously I won't be playing, but I will be ing full-fledged," Brink shared in a recent interview.

"I think it's just going to be a really cool opportunity. Iron sharpens iron, so while I'm there, I'll be able to train with people and work on my game."

The league, co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, has drawn a host of elite players for its inaugural season, which spans eight weeks.

Brink's Lunar Owls boast a star-studded roster that includes Collier, Allisha Gray, Courtney Williams, Skylar Diggins-Smith, and Shakira Austin.

While the team is defensively strong, Brink's absence may leave a gap in offensive depth, particularly in perimeter shooting.

Despite her injury, Brink remains optimistic about her recovery.

Five months post-operation, she revealed, "I feel really good. I mean, I'm not close to being back, but that's fine. I've been able to shoot around a bit on the court. That's just a part of the process."

Adding a personal touch to her time in Miami, Brink mentioned her fiancé, Ben Felter, might her.

"I know my teammates that will be there love Ben because he's the best, so it'll be fun to have all my people together," she said.

Unrivaled's first season will feature six teams competing in an eight-week schedule, culminating in a two-week postseason.

Fans can catch all the action on TNT, TruTV, and Max as this innovative league sets a new standard for women's basketball.

Brink's determination to her team and train alongside some of the league's top players is a testament to her commitment to both her recovery and the sport's growth.
