In an exclusive presentation, the Heraldo Television in Mexico showed the belt for the first time; The belt features handmade details and finishes in marble and Talavera earthenware, as a tribute to the artisan tradition of the state.

This beautiful creation is the work of two talented artisans from Puebla, Angelica Moreno and Matilde Juarez, who took about two months to make it. The center of the belt features the name "World Champion" inlaid on marble along with the WBC logo and initials, along with flags of different countries, the inscription of the month of the fight, and the name of the state of Puebla.

The belt, which weighs about 8 pounds, features on both sides the traditional cathedral of Puebla, meticulously painted in talavera earthware and decorated with the 'plumeado' technique, now with an elegant black color instead of the usual blue used in everyday craftsmanship. To highlight its elegance the belt was meticulously embroidered by hand with diamond-shaped decorations symbolizing diamonds.

This is not the first time the World Boxing Council has made such a special belt. In fact, this will be the ninth time that the body has been awarded a commemorative belt. The last time it was done was in May, for the fight between Canelo Alvarez and John Ryder.
