Ryan Garcia is tired of waiting after his victory over Oscar Duarte, so he sent a strong message to Rolando Romero about his decision to fight Devin Haney.
García made it clear that he is already preparing his return to the ring for March 2024, however, it will not be against Rolando Romero.
"Sorry, 'Rolly', you and your team work way too slow and you were too indecisive. I didn't know if you wanted to box or be on vacation," he wrote on X.
In the face of that, Ryan Garcia revealed that "Devin Haney and I are in negotiations, respect that. Thank you," so he will go for the WBC super lightweight belt.

Devin Haney, also 25 years old, was the one who confirmed the talks that his team has engaged in to make the fight in March 2024.
"We are in negotiations with Oscar de la Hoya and Ryan Garcia. We're still in initial talks and we have things to work out, but it's something we all want."
