- Boxing. Nate Diaz calls out Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder: Fans remind him of Jake Paul loss
- UFC. Jorge Masvidal unloads on Colby Covington: Calls him a 'b**ch', 'fake' and 'bum'
The last time Nate Diaz fought Jorge Masvidal, it was to determine who was the Baddest Mother Effer on the planet. They went at it for the BMF belt but the fight had to be stopped because Nate had a nasty gash in his eyebrow. Since then, these two have gone through a massive transformation as their careers in the UFC have ended. After much consideration and negotiations, we finally get some news of a rematch between the two of them. However, there is a twst most people are not expecting and Dana White probably will not like. When this second fight takes place, both of these UFC legends will earn more money than they earned for a single fight in the UFC.
Diaz vs Masvidal 2 will happen inside a ring
That's right, Jorge Masvidal is facing Nate Diaz inside a ring in a boxing match for 10 rounds at Inglewood, California's Kia Forum. A fight that is taking place on June 1st and promoted by Fanmio, the same promoter that brought us the Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight. According to a report from Ariel Helwani, the promoter will also associate itself with Diaz's Real Fight Inc. and Masvidal's Gamebred Boxing Promotions. More details on the fight will be released as soon as the two parties involved decide to talk about the event. Masvidal has already spoken to Draft Kings about the event, which is now official.
Masvidal specifically has some unfinished business with Nate Diaz after the only time they fought inside the octagon. He felt he could've finished the fight with a knock out or a submission but that cut on Nate's eyebrow prevented him from winning fair and square. At the end, he won the BMF belt but not the was he wanted. Jorge had been teasing a possible rematch against Nate Diaz, which was eventually confirmed today. One more thing, the fight will be at light heavyweight.
