- Boxing. Jaime Munguia opens up after losing to Canelo: My first loss hurt me
Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez conquered Las Vegas this Saturday, with a victory like in his best days, after dominating Jaime Munguia and defeating him by unanimous decision.
To celebrate his historic night, the fighter from Guadalajara, Mexico, called for a post-fight party at an exclusive nightclub, which had an exclusive list of celebrities invited, including singers, athletes and other celebrities.
Where did Canelo Alvarez celebrate his victory over Munguia?
The 33-year-old boxer rented the Zouk Night Club, one of the most expensive and famous entertainment centers in Las Vegas and one of his favorites to celebrate his victories in the ring.
As the host of the event, the undisputed super middleweight champion, he positioned himself at the back of the DJ to have some privacy with his VIP guests.
Although cell phones were allowed at the event, we were able to learn some details of the celebration, including the large amounts of alcohol and the good atmosphere that was always present.
In fact, Canelo only rented part of the space, so in addition to his guests there were dozens of attendees inside the place who were also able to celebrate with the Mexican champion, except that anyone who wanted to enter the place had to pay a cover of $2,000 dollars per table.
Guests at Canelo Alvarez's party
The guest list included close friends of the fighter such as: Eduin Caz, Ryan Garcia, Roberto Laija, his entire team and Luis R. Conriquez, who accompanied Canelo on his way to the ring, prior to the fight.
Also present was Peso Pluma, who was also visible at the T-Mobile Arena a few hours earlier.
Canelo was also caught dancing to the DJ's notes, with his traditional step, which confirms that he has great talent in boxing, but not on the dance floor.
