It's difficult not to feel sympathy for Ryan Garcia, with the talented boxer clearly suffering from some psychological issues away from the ring.
His wild social media posts have caused those around him to worry about his health, whilst a failed drugs test has left his professional boxing career in tatters, with a long suspension coming.
However, there seems to be no slowing Garcia down online and he has now turned his attention to a cause that is particularly close to his heart: fathers seeking visitation rights for their children.
In a post on Instagram, Garcia addressed the struggles single fathers face in seeing or spending time with their children.
How did Garcia become attached to such a cause?
At 25, Garcia is a father to three children, two daughters and a son. He had his first daughter, Rylie, with Catherine Gomez in 2019.
In 2020, he welcomed his second daughter, Bela, with Andrea Celina. Last December, Garcia and Celina had a son, Henry.
Despite parting ways with both Gomez and Celina, Garcia understands the challenges of being a single father.
"A father that has to fight to see his kids tooth and nail is so damaging to his heart it's not humanly possible to describe," Garcia commented.
"To all the single fathers out there fighting for their kids I love y'all!"
Interestingly there are no reports suggesting that Garcia isn't being allowed to see him own children, with his latest crusade seeming to stem back to Father's Day.
On Father's Day, he expressed his sadness about the challenges he faces with his ex-partners and children.
"Father's Day I'm sad because I give everything I can to my wife/ex-wife and love her but still look remains sad over sad," Garcia tweeted.
