The fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul disappointed in the ring, all boxing specialists agree on that, but there was someone who drew a lot of attention and it was a woman: Sydney Thomas, the ring girl who today is a sensation in the digital world.
Sydney Thomas, the ring girl everyone wants
Ring girls today gain a lot of notoriety for their beauty and the scantily clad clothing they wear when they show the next round. Sydney Thomas introduced herself to her followers again this weekend after recently suring one million followers on TikTok.
Thomas is a 20-year-old model and University of Alabama student who gained hundreds of thousands of followers after going viral as a ring girl in the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight on November 15.
"We just hit one million followers on TikTok! I can't express how grateful I am to each and every one of you," Thomas wrote on her Instagram story. "I love you guys, thank you."
In honor of the milestone, Thomas posted a "get to know me" video on TikTok because "there's more to me than meets the eye" online.
"I woke up and saw how my followers had increased, and then I saw all the news articles that had been written about me," Thomas added. "I refreshed my wall and there were just pictures of me, memes and everything. I think that was the moment when I thought, 'Oh my God, I'm really going viral.'"
