We're now over a month removed from the highly anticipated bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Although it was by all intents and purposes one of the biggest boxing events in history, it feels like the hype has already died down completely. We can thank a relatively boring and slow fight between the two for that.

Tyson showed his age, moving gingerly and not throwing a high volume of punches, which we've essentially never seen before. In Tyson's own words, he "blanked out" during the fight and seemed to lose his essence. Even his son, Amir Tyson, itted that Tyson just had no energy left after the first couple of rounds. Despite the poor performance, Tyson laughed his way to the bank, reportedly making around $20 million for a few minutes in the ring.

Could Mike Tyson make $200 million fighting at his old age?

But could Tyson make even more if he stays in the game? Shannon Briggs, a former heavyweight world champion, thinks Tyson can keep fighting for 10 more years, and could see an offer up to $200 million.

These days, we've got doctors, recovery treatments, all kinds of advancements. If you're not getting seriously hurt, why stop fighting?... I'll tell you this: if they came to Mike Tyson when he's 68 years old and said, 'Hey, we've got $200 million for you', you better believe Mike's grabbing a walking stick and stepping back into that ring.

Briggs may have been exaggerating a bit, but no one really knows to what end these type of celebrity boxing exhibitions will go. Paul is obviously a massive draw, but a cross-generation bout between Iron Mike and legendary boxers - like Canelo Alvarez for instance - would likely break records.
