This contract is a watershed moment in the career of the Guadalajara native, as he agreed to four fights with Turki, three of which will be in Saudi Arabia.

According to Ring Magazine, Canelo Alvarez will leave the United States, which had become his usual territory for his two fights each year, and will now adopt the city of Riyadh as his new home for his fights in 2025 and 2026.

In fact, this year, the one in May will be in the Arab country, while the one in September returns to Las Vegas and for 2026, both events are in Arab lands.

The 2026 fights would also change months, as Canelo would have to fight in February and October to leave aside the May and September cards in the framework of the Battle of Puebla and Mexico's Independence, both patriotic festivities.
