The boxing world is hoping and trusting that the fight between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and David Benavidez will soon take place. However, for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., the chances of that happening are slim.
And the legend's son believes that Benavidez's youth is the main threat to Canelo and therefore the Guadalajara native would not take the risk.

In an interview with Fight Hub, Chavez Jr. said he would like to see this episode in the boxing world, but does not see it as likely.
"I would like Canelo to fight Jake Paul, who is generating a lot of interest, and then with Terence Crawford in September. But with Benavidez, I don't think he will fight," he said.
And he added: "(Canelo) is very big, very young, and it would be a big risk. I really don't think he will do it."

Likewise, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. expressed his iration for David Benavidez and the fight he will have with David Morrell and described it as a "worthy war"
"It was very good, it had been a long time since I had seen fights like that," he said.
