The F1 summer break is coming to an end and fans are desperate to see the Dutch Grand Prix get underway this weekend.

This is the home race for championship leader Max Verstappen. He is the only Dutch driver on the grid after Nyck de Vries was replaced mid-season by Daniel Ricciardo at Alpha Tauri.

The fans always provide the spectacle at Zandvoort as they are fanatical ers of Verstappen and they always let off countless orange flares if he manages to come across the line in first place.

When is the Dutch Grand Prix 2023?

The action at the Dutch Grand Prix is going to get underway on Friday, August 25. It is a standard format weekend so there is no sprint race or sprint shootout to deal with.

That means that things begin with Free Practice 1 which is at 12:30-13:30 CEST, and that is followed by Free Practice 2 at 16:00-17:00 CEST.

On Saturday, August 26, the action begins with Free Practice 3 at 11:30-12:30. Then the competitive track time begins at 15:00-16:00 with the qualifying session. Everyone will be desperate to see if they can beat Verstappen to pole position at his home race.

On Sunday, August 27, it is time for the race which starts at 15:00.

Where is the Dutch Grand Prix?

The Dutch Grand Prix takes place north of Amsterdam at the Zandvoort Circuit. It is a very technical track that favours cars with the best downforce rather than the best top speed.

There are a number of very technical sections and some banked corners that are almost reminiscent of NASCAR.
