Don't miss the action from the Emilia Romagna GP
A victory for Oscar Piastri in the Miami Grand Prix puts him as the leader of the Drivers' Championship with 131 points. Behind him is his 'papaya' teammate, Lando Norris, who secured second place on the American track. George Russell's third place was enough to close the gap in the standings with reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen. The Dutch driver had to settle for fourth place, and after finishing in Miami, he remains in third place in the championship.
Charles Leclerc, Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton are in a close 'internal battle' with only 12 points separating them. To close the top 10 of the season, there is Alex Albon with 30, Esteban Ocon and Lance Stroll are tied and have 14 points in the championship.
For the Spanish drivers, Carlos Sainz finished in ninth position in Miami and is in 13th place in the standings with seven points. While the scenario is not the same for Fernando Alonso, who is still without points after the first six rounds of the F1 World Championship.
