Mexican driver Sergio "Checo" Perez made it very clear that he is still looking to return to Formula 1 after his departure from Red Bull. The Mexican is clear that his career has not had the end that he wants.
During his participation in the Festival de las Ideas Puebla 2025, Checo left the door open to return to the top level of motorsport and thus have a project that marks the end of his professional career as he wishes.
How does Sergio Perez want the end of his F1 career to go?
"I'm not sure what will happen. I am aware that I have not closed my career as I would like and as we deserve. If I return, it will be to an important project that motivates us. If I find it, I will return," he said.
The Mexican driver has been linked with several teams interested in having him as part of their team, in fact there is talk of his return to Formula 1 for the 2026 season.
