Leo Messi made his acting debut in an Argentinian streaming TV show called 'Los protectores', in which he plays himself opposite a trio of football players' representatives.

The appearance comes in the second season of the Star Original Productions comedy, starring Argentinians Adrian Suar and Gustavo Bermudez, and Colombian Andres Parra, who play three footballers' agents.

Messi takes part in an amusing five-minute scene, in which he meets with the three agents to discuss a project to young players playing for different clubs in Europe, and the situation gets out of hand with requests for photos and videos and the proposal of a business deal that leads to an intense exchange of glances.

The scene finally lightens up with a toast between Messi and the representatives in the seven-episode series that began airing last Sunday on streaming service Star+.

Shot on location in Buenos Aires and Paris, the new season offers hilarious twists and turns as the three main characters navigate the world of football representation and reveal the power relations and competition that are inherent in the world of football representation.

The second season begins one year after the formation of "Los protectores S.A.", when its three partners are enjoying having managed to position the company as one of the most important in football representation in Latin America and Europe, and unexpectedly suffer the loss of their portfolio of players, so they will do the impossible to recover what belongs to them.

The new show was written by Marcos Carnevale, directed by Jorge Nisco and produced by Polka, and it takes up the story of the charismatic trio of footballers' representatives made up of Mago (Suar), Reynaldo (Parra) and Conde (Bermudez), together with great guests and new characters played by Martin Seefeld, Jorgelina Aruzzi, Gaston Soffritti and Karina Mazzocco.
