US cities and stadiums announced for FIFA Club World Cup: Everything you need to know

Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over. The 2025 Club World Cup already has defined venues for the tournament as FIFA announced the stadiums that will host the competition to be held in the United States.

With 11 venues selected, the championship game will take place on the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which is scheduled to be played on July 13, 2025. The event starts on Sunday, June 15 and there will be 29 days of competition to see the best teams on the planet.

Among the participating teams, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Salzburg, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter, Porto, Benfica, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Atlético de Madrid, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Fluminense, River Plate, Boca Juniors, Seattle Sounders, Monterrey, Pachuca and Club León will compete, among others.

The stadiums are elite

The venues that were designated for this tournament that will have this format with many more teams than costumed. In previous editions, the champions from América and Europe waited for others to compete in the first round to in the semifinals, now it will be different thanks to new opportunities to more teams.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte), TQL Stadium (Cincinnati), Rose Bowl Stadium (Pasadena), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami), GEODIS Park (Nashville), Camping Stadium World (Orlando), Inter&Co Stadium (Orlando), Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia), Lumen Field (Seattle) and Audi Field (Washington, D.C.) are the designated stadiums.

The expectations is high specially as this tournament will be taken as the last test for US Soccer organizers before the FIFA World Cup to take place in 2026; Canada and Mexico will also host games in that tournament.
