There is excitement at Barcelona, as the Catalan club have announced this Wednesday an agreement in principle with Leeds United for the transfer of Raphinha.
The 25-year-old wide forward has been with the English side for two years and has made nine appearances for the Brazilian national team.
Now, he'll be the latest Brazilian star to call the Camp Nou his home, as he is expected to sign a contract that will run until 2027.
Although Barcelona haven't revealed the fee, it is believed that they'll pay a fixed fee of around 55 million euros to Leeds for the player, with this potentially growing through add-ons.
"Barcelona and Leeds United have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Raphael Dias Belloli, Raphinha, pending the player ing his medical," the club announced in a statement.
Raphinha is Barcelona's third g of the summer
Barcelona have beaten Chelsea to the g of Raphinha, making a statement of intent.
He arrives after the previous additions of centre-back Andreas Christensen and midfielder Franck Kessie, although they both came as free agents.
The Catalan club will now try to bring in Robert Lewandowski, their other major transfer target this summer.
