- Real Madrid. Real Madrid suffer first LaLiga loss of the season at Rayo Vallecano
Real Madrid resumed training on Tuesday after Monday's 3-2 defeat to Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga Santander, with their sights set on a game against Cadiz on Thursday.
For that game, German defender Antonio Rudiger will not be available and 's Karim Benzema is a doubt.
The centre-back is still recovering from a hip strain that caused him to miss the game against Rayo Vallecano and will not play again for Los Blancos until the competition resumes after the World Cup break.
Depending on the severity of his injury, the German will or will not be on the list that German coach Hansi Flick will submit this week.
For his part, Benzema returned to training and his presence against Cadiz is in doubt. If he is unable to take part, he will miss his seventh matchday in the league, which is 50 percent of the games played by Carlo Ancelotti's side.
The French striker is still not feeling well enough to complete a training session at the same pace as the rest of his teammates.
For their part, the rest of the players trained after suffering their first defeat of the season in LaLiga Santander. The starters against Rayo Vallecano did recovery work, while the rest did normal training.
The session was attended by several players from the youth academy. Sergio Arribas, Mario Martin and Aranda trained with the seniors.
Arribas did so a day after receiving the award from the AFE, which accredited him as the best player in Group II of the Primera RFEF last season.
