The domestic league seasons are ending around Europe, which means clubs are getting ready to dip their toes into the transfer market and make additions for next season -- or sell off unwanted assets.

The latter is certainly the case at free-spending Chelsea FC, which must make some effort to balance the books this summer after a year of lavish spending by new owners Clearlake Capital. The new manager Mauricio Pochettino will have a hand in building next year's Chelsea squad aswell, and it looks increasingly unlikely to include United States star Christian Pulisic

Serie A beckoning for Puli?

According to ESPN on Tuesday, it is Italian side Juventus currently leading the race to sign Pulisic, who will be in demand this summer as he enters the final year of his Chelsea contract.

Pulisic has been unwanted at Chelsea since new ownership arrived, and he has even been linked with Juvebefore. Chelsea spent £58 million to acquire Pulisic in 2019 but seem willing to let him leave now for around £20 million, with Manchester United and other Italian clubs also interested.

g for Juventus would give Pulisic the chance to link up with his USMNT teammate Weston McKennie, who will return to Turin after his Leeds United loan spell ended in relegation.

Joao Felix also on his way out of Chelsea

Pulisic will not be the only talented attacker leaving Stamford Bridge this summer. Pochettino does not want Joao Felix in his team next season, and the Portuguese will return to Atletico Madrid when his loan ends in June.

Midfielder Mason Mount is another player drawing strong interest from Man United, while Saudi Arabian interest could convince N'Golo Kante to leave Chelsea after seven years too
