Orta: Bielsa asked if g Rodrigo would be possible and here we are

Rodrigo Moreno has undergone medical exams accompanied by Leeds United's sporting director Victor Otra, who revealed his conversation with Marcelo Bielsa before g the player.

The 29-year-old forward is ing the Premier League side from Valencia and is the most expensive g in their history.

"It was a fair negotiation," Orta told the media on Wednesday.

"I have been in football for 16 years and it is one of the first times that I have seen the three parties satisfied with the agreement.

"Bielsa is very happy.

"As soon as we raised it, he asked if it were possible.

"He did not hesitate."

"And here we are."

Otra added that both the player and his father have put their confidence in Leeds' project.

"I want to thank the whole club for trusting in the possibility of g [Rodrigo], as well as the father and the player," he said.

"They have believed from the first moment in the project and have given us the opportunity to present who we are.

"Here in Valencia is [Leeds'] memory of the Champions League semi-finals years ago, and we have that ambition to grow little by little.
