Rapper Jemele Hill claims she's had enough of rappers dying from gun violence and wants people to together to discuss how to put a permanent end to it.

In response to Takeoff's killing in Houston, TMZ spoke with Jemele at LAX on Wednesday. She is urging lawmakers, record companies, and musicians to have difficult dialogues about gun violence.

Even while Jemele suspects some of these discussions may be taking place behind closed doors, she emphasizes the need for open dialogue about the problems and solutions related to gun violence.

Migos rapper Takeoof was the most recent victim of gun violence in hip hop

Takeoff was visiting Houston when he was shot and died; according to the coroner's report, the rapper from the Migos crew was hit in the head and torso.

In addition, Jemele has strong feelings about the custom of rappers "checking in" with specific people wherever they go, calling it "some slave s***." According to her, Black people shouldn't ever feel threatened when leaving their neighborhood.

Houston Police Chief reveals Takeoff's killer is still at large, search ongoing

After the shooting deaths of Takeoff and PnB Rock, Jemele wants industry executives to declare that enough is enough, lamenting the fact that little has changed since Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur were shot and killed back in the day.

Jemele explains why the solution cannot be to stop going out and stopping wearing jewelry, even though she claims that there are some issues with gun violence in her own community that need to be addressed.
