Stephen A. Smith deleted a tweet where he referred to Kim Kardashian as a "prostitute" and Kris Jenner as a "pimp".
During the episode of "The Stephen A. Smith Show," which covers various topics unrelated to sports, Smith brought up Kim and Kris as subjects of discussion.
He referred to a clip from September where Candace Owens discussed Ray J's claims about Kris' alleged involvement in brokering the infamous sex tape between him and Kim.
Stephen A. Smith tweeted a teaser for the episode, asking if Kim Kardashian is a "prostitute" and Kris Jenner a "pimp," adding context that these were Candace Owens' thoughts. His tweet drew criticism, including Patrick Beverly defending Kim and reminding Smith that she's a mother.
Smith replied, agreeing with Beverly and attributed the tweet to a "clerical error," subsequently deleting it.
"Clerical error bro. You are absolutely right. That is being corrected right now as we speak. And for the record, I don't think of Kim Kardashian that way nor would I ever speak of her or any woman that way, which I've stated. That's for checking that issue," Smith wrote.
However, the podcast episode where he discusses the same topic is still available on YouTube. In the episode, Smith appears to somewhat agree with Candace Owens, assuming Ray J's claims are true, and his sister, who was a guest on the show, also seemed to lean towards ing Candace's take.
This incident has raised eyebrows as Smith has previously publicly ed Kardashian but seemed to take a different stance in this particular podcast episode.
