Ron Goldman is the man who was also brutally murdered alongside Nicole Brown Simpson, who was O.J. Simpson's wife. The way in which both of them were murdered is one of the most horrible ways in modern American history. A case that reached every single corner in the world and a trial from which Simpson himself was ultimately acquitted. In people's minds, O.J. walked free due to the stellar legal representation of attorney's Cochran and Shapiro. They were the star lawyers who took care of the most high profile clients during that era, they won this case without revealing some information that could've been important against O.J. Simpson. An attorney from Ron Goldman's family is the one who made this revelation after the NFL legend died from cancer on Thursday.

O.J. Simpson's incredible debt to the Goldman family

Ron Goldman's family is representing the murder victim's father, he is the one who is making claims that place Simpson in an even more compromising position. A judge ordered Simpson to pay both the Goldman and Brown families a reported $33.5 million once it was discovered that Simpson was liable in a wringful death lawsuit back in 1997. Attorney David Cook is representing Fred Goldman, who is Ron's father. They report that they haven't seen any money from that order but they also claim O.J. Simpson actually owed Ron Goldman a staggering $114 million. The only money Simpson has paid from any of that debt is a measly $133,000. According to the New York Post and Bleacher Report, no more money has been paid from that and interests have soared already.

Due to this massive debt that has ballooned over the years, a trial between the Goldman and the Simpson families is 100% expected to take place over the next few years. The Goldman family did get a small win when they obtained the rights to a book O.J. Simpson had been writing that is called 'If I Did It'. But the Goldman family is currently struggling with getting this money Simpson owes to them after Ron was brutally murdered. Whether the legal team moves forward with this trial will strictly depend on what Fred Goldman wants to do. If he chooses to not pursue this, that is the only way in which this case doesn't go to trial.
