Details continue to emerge on how Jennifer Garner ed ex-husband Ben Affleck during his difficult time with Jennifer Lopez prior to the two heading for divorce.
As per a source speaking to Page Six, Garner encouraged Ben to work on his marriage with JLo, and that she had even come friendly with Jennifer and spoke to her regularly.
"When things started getting rocky between Ben and Jennifer [Lopez], Jen was very ive of their relationship and encouraged Ben to work on their marriage," the source told the outlet.
However, although Garner "has no problem with Jennifer", she "hasn't been in touch" with her recently.
"At the end of the day, she just wants Ben to be happy," the source added.
Garner and Affleck remain close
Garner and Affleck ended their 10-year marriage back in 2015. They share three children: Violet, who is 18, Seraphina, who is 15, and Samuel, who is 12.
The two were spotted together on Thanksgiving Day, along with their three kids, as they partnered with the Midnight Mission to help feed 2,000 homeless and near-homeless people.
Affleck reportedly felt "blessed" to spend time with his family, especially after Lopez filed for divorce on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding ceremony.
"Even though Ben and Jen [Garner] have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her," a source told Page Six.
"Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she's the mother of his kids.
"They'll always be close because they share children together and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship."
