Elon Musk often talks, because he likes to, about planet Earth and how much time it has left. The billionaire is obsessed with his travels to Mars. It's a challenge for him. In an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, he was asked why he is so obsessed with the Red Planet. "That's one of the benefits of Mars: it's a life insurance policy for collective life. So eventually all life on Earth will be destroyed by the Sun. The Sun is gradually expanding, so at some point we will need to be a multiplanetary civilization, because the Earth will be incinerated".

The billionaire currently heads the Trump istration's Office of Government Efficiency."If, as the fossil record suggests, the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old, we have 10% of that time left before the temperature gets so hot that life is impossible," he explained.
