Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan's relationship was a media sensation from the start. The shock of seeing Scottie Pippen's ex-wife dating Michael Jordan's son captivated the internet, and their dramatic breakup in 2024 kept the headlines buzzing for nearly two years. Now, a year and a half after their split, Larsa is finally in a better place.
The Real Housewives of Miami (RHOM) star took her time before stepping back into the dating scene. After keeping a low profile, she recently found love again with basketball player Jeff Coby. The couple made their official red carpet debut this past April, and now, Larsa is ready to spill the details.
Pippen and Coby's relationship surfaced just in time for the premiere of RHOM's latest season. In an interview marking the trailer's release, Larsa reflected on her past relationship, saying, "I feel like my last relationship was on display from day one, so I want to be more careful this time around." She also didn't hold back when discussing Marcus.
The fallout from Pippen and Jordan's breakup
On a recent episode of the Housewives Nightcap podcast, Larsa itted that her split from Marcus was particularly painful. "We kind of had a bad breakup," she revealed, adding that the situation was even harder because of her children. "It's really tough when you bring someone into your home, around your kids, and then you break up."
After the split, Larsa found herself questioning her choices. "I think it's just really hard-you go through all these thoughts in your mind: 'Maybe I shouldn't have brought this person around my kids. Did I make a bad decision?'"
To make matters worse, Marcus Jordan will be appearing in season seven of RHOM.
The trailer for the new season confirmed that Marcus will have a role on the reality show, and Larsa didn't hide her unease. "I am definitely nervous to see him back. Just because I was in a bad place. I was in such a bad place," she itted. However, she reassured fans that she is now "in such a better place," thanks in large part to her relationship with Coby.
Were there threatening texts from Marcus?
The RHOM trailer also hinted at a darker side to their breakup. In a conversation with co-star Alexia Nepola, Larsa made a shocking claim: "He was sending really threatening text messages at the end."
The clip leaves viewers hanging, ensuring they'll tune in to uncover the full story. Now, the big question remains: Will Marcus and Jeff cross paths on RHOM this season? It seems unlikely-but in the world of reality TV, anything is possible.
