- MLS. Leo Messi gets his mural back in pristine condition after it was vandalised
Music fans around the world had been waiting for rapper Travis Scott to releasehis new album called 'Utopia'. It not only released last Thursday but the rapper himself performed it live at Rolling Loud in the city of Miami. Initially, Travis Scott had been pushing to make a concert in the Giza Pyramids in Egypt. The concert couldn't take place in that place as Travis Scott's team argues complex production issues as the main reason for this. However, the rapper is adamant to make that concert happen and he will keep trying to make it happen. The album released two years after Travis Scott's tragic 'Astroworld' concert that left 10 people dead and multiple injured after a massive crowd crush. Since then, Scott hadn't released any music.
Making that performance in Miami falls right in line with the Lionel Messi mania that's just starting to take over the city. Scott himself sings 'Meltdown' with a feature from Drake and he actually mentions the Inter Miami star. It's a small lyric in which he is mentioned next to Tom Brady, the NFL's greatest player ever. This goes to show how much influence the Argentine player is beginning to have in American popular culture. One of the world's biggest rappers is mentioning Lionel Messi in one of the most expected albums of 2023. We also have a feeling that this fever will only keep growing. Messi is here to stay. You can now watch Leo playing in the MLS through Apple.
When is Leo Messi's next game with Inter Miami?
Inter Miami's game will be next week in the League Cup's next round after qualifying in first place within Group J. It may likely be against the winner of Group K which includes FC Dallas, Charlotte, and Necaxa. Messi is expected to keep playing this tournament and Inter Miami is already considered favorite to win due to his presence alone. One thing is for sure though, his impact would be nowhere as immediate if his soccer skills weren't so impressive. No MLS player has this type of talent right now, Messi has proven in two games he is simply in another level. The United States is not ready for what Messi will put them through. Drake seems to know a thing or two about that. Here's the lyric.
