Britney Spears shared a Taylor Swift throwback story and photo on Instagram. The post included pictures of the two together in 2003 when Swift would have been around 13 or 14 years old and another from the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008.
"This is way back when but kinda cool ... During my Oops Tour, I got a knock at my door," Spears wrote on Instagram.
"My good friend at the time was the assistant to my manager who was trying to become a manager himself. There was a knock, and then he said, 'I have a girl named Taylor who wants to come in and sing for you.' I was like of course !!!
"He walks in, and she sings a beautiful song with her guitar. I was like wow wow she's unbelievable !!! We took a picture, and she then became the most iconic pop woman of our generation.
"Kinda cool she plays stadiums, and I prefer her videos over movies any day. She's stunning !!! Girl crush."
Thriving in the charts
Swift recently released "1989 (Taylor's Version)," her latest re-recording, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The vault track "Is It Over Now?" also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Meanwhile, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce attended night two of the Eras Tour in Argentina, cheering on his girlfriend, Swift, from the VIP tent alongside her father, Scott Swift.
