Will Taylor Swift perform at the 2024 MTV VMAs?
The 34-year-old has been on her Eras Tour since 2023 and recently closed out the Europe/Asia leg at Wembley Stadium in London, the United Kingdom leaving her with over a month before her next shows.
But despite the gap between London and Miami, she will not be taking to the stage to perform at the 2024 MTV VMAs, electing to rest her vocal chords instead although that doesn't mean the line-up isn't mouth-watering.

Some huge names such as Carpenter, Mendes, Megan Thee Stallion and Rauw Alejandro will headline the night alongside Camilla Cabello, Lenny Kravitz, Chappell Roan, KAROL G, Anitta, Benson Boone, Halsey, GloRilla, Jessie Murph, LE SSERAFIM, LISA, LL COOL J, and Teddy Swims.

Taylor Swift leads the nominations at the 2024 MTV VMAs with 10 nods, just ahead of Post Malone, who has 9.
Both artists are well ahead of Eminem, Ariana Grande, and Sabrina Carpenter, each with six nominations. Following them, Megan Thee Stallion and SZA have five nominations, while LiSa, Olivia Rodrigo, and Teddy Swims are tied with four each.
This year's awards will feature 29 first-time nominees. Among them are Alexander Stewart, Benson Boone, Burna Boy, Coco Jones, Flyana Boss, Gracie Abrams, Gunna, Jelly Roll, Jessie Murph, Joyner Lucas, Laufey, LE SSERAFIM, Lojay, Morgan Wallen, Myke Towers, NCT Dream, Pheelz, Playboi Carti, RAYE, Rauw Alejandro, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, The Warning, Tyler Childers, Tyla, and Victoria Monet.
Where to watch the MTV VMAs 2024?
The show will be held at the UBS Arena in New York, situated just outside of New York City bounds, this Wednesday, September 11 with proceeds going to charities related ing victims of the 9/11 attacks.
It will be aired by MTV along with BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land and VH1 from 20:00 ET/17:00 PT, whilst MTV also continues its association with TelevisaUnivision to host post-show highlights from 23:30 ET/20:30 PT on UNIMAS.
