Rick Harrison is one of the best-known presenters on the planet as a result of being the host of 'Pawn Stars'. However, his life has not always been a bed of roses. A year ago, the presenter experienced what was surely the worst moment of his life: the death of his 39-year-old son Adam from an overdose.

Now that a year has ed since his death, the American wanted to be honest about how he is coping with the grief of living without his son. "I think about him every day. When he was in his 20s, he had problems with drugs. My God, I put him in rehab so many times, and every time he did great, and then he just fell back," he began by saying on the podcast 'In Depth' with Graham Bensinger.

Rick Harrison: "When you lose a child, you doubt everything. It's like, 'Could I have done this?'"

"They've heard the same story from a million people, and it got really, really bad, and apparently it wasn't heroin that got him, it was fentanyl. That's what killed him," the antique dealer detailed. Rick then revealed that since the tragedy happened, he has wondered if they did everything right with their son.

"The thing is, when you lose a child, you doubt everything. It's like, 'Could I have done this? Could I have done that?' And it's like it's constantly going around in your head. There's not a single day that I don't think about him. Could I have done something different? I think I did everything right," he said, hesitantly.

Finally, Harrison concluded by telling how he has tried to be happy without his son, something very complicated: "You have to appreciate what you have, because you're not always going to have it. I spend as much time as I can with my kids," he said. "I talk to everyone on the phone almost every day. I love my kids, I love my grandchildren. Enjoy life," he said.
