British royals are in Wales for the national celebration of the feast day of the country's patron saint, St. David. Prince William was in Wrexham and his first stop was The Turf pub, the oldest pub in any sports stadium in the world. The pub is located next to Wrexham Association Football Club's Racecourse Ground stadium.

Prince William sat behind the bar, toasted and had a shot of whiskey with Rob McElhenney and the Turf's owner, Wayne Jones.

The heir to the British throne revealed his bartending skills as he poured a pint behind the bar, although it looks like he needs to hone them a little more.

The Wrexham soccer team grabbed worldwide attention thanks to the documentary series "Welcome Wrexham" which follows the redevelopment of the historic soccer club after it was acquired by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in 2021.

Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds was unable to travel from the United States for the royal visit, Ryan is busy with the latest installment of his Deadpool film series.

William then headed to the soccer stadium, where he was presented with a Wrexham jersey with his name and the number 9 on the back. The prince is known for attending Aston Villa games to his favorite team, he also met with staff and players at the stadium.
