Across the country, there are nearly 2,400 options to save money in these difficult times, and Pennsylvania residents are preparing to start receiving tax refunds that could reach up to $1,000.

From July 1, 2023, beneficiaries will start receiving their refunds, and it will all depend on their income and personal circumstances to receive the stimulus check.

The program run by the Department of Revenue is aimed directly at people over 65, widows and widowers over 50 and disabled citizens over 18, provided their annual income does not exceed $46,520.

How to apply for rental assistance

The program establishes different payments according to the annual income of the applicants.

  • Up to $1,000 for those who earned between $0 and $8,270.
  • A maximum of $770 for incomes between $8,271 and $15,510. Up to $460 for those who earned between $15,511 and $18,610.
  • A limit of $380 for incomes between $18,611 and $46,520.
  • In addition, citizens of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Scranton could qualify for an additional rebate of between $190 and $500.

You will need proof of annual income, rental or ownership documentation, and the official application form, and it is important to that the deadline is June 30, 2025.
