In California, CalFresh recipients receive their monthly payments during the first 10 days of each month, depending on the last digit of their case number.

This number determines the exact date that funds are loaded onto your EBT card. For example, if the case number ends in "1", benefits will be available on the 1st of the month.

In most cases, you can expect to receive benefits at midnight, but if they have not been loaded on your usual day, it is recommended that you your local office to payment.
