Next Monday, January 20, all eyes will be on Washington DC as Donald Trump is sworn in for the second time as President of the United States of America.
However, Kamala Harris was defeated in the election by the Republican and according to political analysts, she is sunk in sadness and blames Biden for not reaching the White House.
What's going on with Kamala Harris?
The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, has been the focus of controversy for ending a tradition by not inviting Vice President-elect JD Vance and his wife, Usha, to a formal meeting at the Vice President's official residence, the Naval Observatory in Washington, something that is striking given the precedents: in 2008, Dick Cheney received Joe Biden, and in 2016, Biden did the same with Mike Pence.
Well, a Daily Mail poll has revealed that for Kamala Harris among Democratic voters has fallen by 16 percentage points since December. In addition, the whole situation has led to speculation that she is totally downbeat as far as her mood is concerned, as she was seen at the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter on January 9 and she and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, were very cold and distant.
Tension between Harris and Biden
The tension is more than evident, as according to sources close to the US presidency, Harris' relationship with the Bidens is totally null and void and with other party leaders, increasing criticism considerably towards her and also affecting her public image. On January 3, several sources told the Wall Street Journal the following about Harris: "She is sunk in sadness after losing the election and betrayed by Biden".
