An MLB fan went viral on Sunday night after making a spectacular, barehanded catch off a home run from Texas Rangers' Adolis Garcia in Game 6 of the ALCS against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
The fan made the catch look extremely easy as he simple lifted his arm to smoothly make the grab. Those around him celebrated the moment and looked as surprised as the broadcast announcers.
They played the replay during the broadcast and the official MLB on FOX on X (Twitter) shared the highlight.
"GIVE HIM A CONTRACT," @MLBONFOX tweeted. "The barehanded catch by this fan was too smooth!"
Rangers even series vs. Astros
The home run catch by the fan was made in the second inning when Rangers tied the game at one run each.
Rangers went on to win 9-2 on the road to even out the ALCS at three games apiece ahead of Monday's Game 7.
The winner will reach the World Series against the NLCS champion, either the Arizona Diamondbacks or Philadelphia Phillies.
