The College World Series comes to an end this weekend, or this Monday if necessary, and the Texas A&M Aggies are looking to make history in Omaha. After beating the Florida Gators on June 19 to earn a spot in the championship series, they area making a big splash in this participation.
The Aggies' program is no stranger to the College World Series, as they are making their eight in the tournament, just like the runs they scored to qualify for the final stage of the season. Just like their rival, the Tennessee Volunteers, their first ever appearance was back in 1951, in what was the fifth ever edition of the national tournament.
They made appearances in 1951, 1964, 1993, 1999, 2011, 2017, 2022 and this time in 2024. For the NCAA regional championships, they have been in this stage of the tournament 11 times, in 1993, 1999, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2022 and in this edition on 2024.

How many World Series championships does Texas A&M have?
Despite their many College World Series appearances, in this 2024 edition of the tournament the Texas A&M Aggies will be making their first ever championship series appearance in their history. Their three straight wins, two versus the Florida Gators, make an already historic run for them and look to write their name in the books.
It is also the first final appearance for manager Jim Schlossnagle, who himself has made seven appearances in the tournament. In this edition, the Aggies are the only remaining undefeated team in the World Series. If they win two out of three games against the Tennessee Volunteers, they will be crowned national champions.
