- NCAA. Harbaugh haunted by drafting scandal: Can he shake off the shadow of Michigan's allegations?
- NCAA. Deion Sanders finally talks about locker room violence allegations against his team
Every football player loves to receive individual awards as validation that they are a crucial part of the team, but Shedeur Sanders is being laughed at by his Colorado Buffaloes teammates after his latest award.
The All-American Honors were released on Monday and it has proved not to be as happy a moment for Sanders as he may have expected.
The CU Buffs official football page posted about it, captioning: "Talent on all sides of the ball."
It proudly noted how Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, and LaJohntay Wester were named to the "College Football Network All-American Watchlist," featuring a poster of all three.
Two of the three players will be happy with their listing. Travis Hunter was down as the First-Team flex defence, and LaJohntay Wester was down as the Second-Team punt returner, whilst Sanders simply had 'Honorable Mention Quarterback' by his name.
Fans laugh at Shedeur Sanders
There is no denying Sanders' quality and he is going to be one of the top picks for the 2025 NFL Draft and will be a noteworthy Heisman contender, but people are really picking on him right now.
One Instagram commented: "Honorable mention is NASTY work wtf," and another added, "Honorable mention is beyond disrespectful."
Now Buffaloes fans are eager to change this narrative and see their team, and their star QB, shine this season.
One Buffs fan summed it up perfectly: "Honorable mention??? Man I'm sick of talking. Let's just go f em up this season."
His dad and coach, Deion Sanders has had bigger problems to deal with recently. Sanders hit back at claims his Colorado Buffaloes' locker room features violence by posting a video of the players praising the ex-NFL star and his coaching methods on the eve of the NCAA season.
Allegations against Coach Prime relate to Jordan Seaton who was reportedly told to fight Savion Washington in order to "prove his manhood" to the coach and team dating back to April 2024, whilst there are also claims the team has a gambling problem too.
