Deion Sanders could be in line for another conflict with the media after criticism of his team

It would not be the first time this happens before the season starts

Deion Sanders has always been protective of his players; he has held them able for their mistakes but that does not mean he does not look out for them. Since he took over the Colorado program, many have believed that he has taken that protection to another level in college football.

During the Big XII Media Day, Coach Prime was at a press conference, and he refused to answer some questions to reporters that he did not believe it was something that needed to do because of some history with the companies they worked for or because of other things that has created criticism.

The college football season is almost here, and many believe that for the rest of the year the media will have to battle with him at any media attention event. Deion Sandres cut off a reporter right when he presented himself from CBS because the coach allegedly did not where he was ranked on a web site piece the company wrote. That could repeat itself.

He could have another problem soon

This press conference situation could be seen once again, as ESPN's Bill Connelly wrote about his program this week nobody thinks he would like it. Back in 2022 the Buffaloes only won one game and last year they improved to 4-8, but the hype they are receiving for 2024 might be misleading, according to the reporter.

"It's difficult to talk about Colorado in a constructive way at the moment," Connelly wrote . "On one hand, Deion Sanders' transfer-dependent Buffaloes were boosted by false hype early in 2023."

But that was not the only thing he said, after he believes the predictions for Colorado are coming of the ratings in the new EA Sports College Football video game.

"Heading into 2024, they're once again receiving hype they haven't earned, this time primarily from the EA Sports College Football 25 game that lavished high rankings on quarterback Shedeur Sanders and do-everything Travis Hunter and made them one of the 20 most talented teams in the game," continued Connelly and Deion Sanders might not like it.
