The college football season is just a day away, with several exciting games scheduled this Saturday.

How the expansion of the College Football Playoffs will work?
This season marks the expansion of the College Football Playoff from four teams to 12. Only conference champions, regardless of their overall ranking, are eligible for the top four seeds and a first-round bye.
Teams seeded five through eight will host teams seeded nine through 12 in first-round games played on campus. These matchups are scheduled for Dec. 20 (one game) and Dec. 21 (three games).
The quarterfinals will be hosted by traditional marquee bowl games, with the Fiesta Bowl taking place on Dec. 31, and the Peach, Rose, and Sugar Bowls on Jan. 1.
Semifinal games will also be held at bowl venues, with the Orange Bowl scheduled for Jan. 9 and the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 10.The championship game is set for Jan. 20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, marking the latest end to a college football season.
