Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Florida witnessed an awkward yet epic moment when an elderly man was caught by the game's broadcast cameras sniffing the neck of a female fan. The gentleman, a Gators er, became the subject of memes on social media and is now trending.

Attendance at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium was estimated at 90,544 fans, supposedly exceeding the stadium's capacity of around 88,000.

It wasn't the Gators' night

Undoubtedly, the old fan stole the spotlight for the night, as the Gators ended up losing 41-17 against the Miami Hurricanes. The defeat was anticipated due to the incredible performance of Cam Ward, who scored three touchdowns and racked up 385 yards.

Is this the end for Billy Napier?

The performance of the Florida Gators in the first week of the college football season has worried both officials and fans. There are rumors that coach Billy Napier may have one month to improve the team's situation and prove they can compete.

"We've got to go prove it on the field," Coach Billy Napier said. "Saturday, we've got our chance to do that."

"I think there were parts of practice that could've been better, just to be totally transparent," Napier said. He contrasted that by saying the team has approached practice "the right way" this week.

The Gators' next game will be this Saturday, September 7, against the Samford University Bulldogs from Michigan. The game will again be held at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, where fans are expected to exhibit better behavior than in the Miami game.
