It's been a strange start to the season for Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes team. A close win over North Dakota State was followed by a shellacking at the hands of Nebraska. But this past weekend, Colorado got back on track with an easy win over rivals Colorado State.

Before the CSU game, there was a lot of trash-talking, particularly from the other side. The Buffaloes tried to stay even-keel, and it paid off on the field. Once the game ended, Shedeur Sanders had a contentious encounter with a CSU player, although many believe he was in the right. Then, in the postgame press conference, Sanders did something that showed the type of leader he is.

Shedeur Sanders' grand gesture for Colorado teammates

Sanders brought the entire offensive line with him to be at the podium alongside the quarterback and Travis Hunter.

This came a week after Sanders threw the offensive line under the bus following the Nebraska loss. Sanders was frustrated that the line didn't block well enough against the Cornhuskers in order to run the ball efficiently, which would make his job easier overall.

Sanders' decision to bring the o-line to the stage was a great gesture. Many might believe it was just a positive PR type of move, but more than anything, it showcased that Sanders has his teammates' backs at the end of the day.

Sanders just wants to win, and his emotions may lead him to say some controversial things to the media, but there's no denying his teammates like him.
