There is no question that when Deion Sanders arrived at Colorado, everyone thought this team would be very good. But the Buffaloes struggled in his first year as the head coach of the program and ability was pointed towards him from everyone following the NCAA.

Now, in his second year in Bolder, he has done a pretty good job putting the school as national champion contender, even if they are no longer undefeated. He has changed the culture and the way that everyone sees Colorado. With that said, not everyone believes in them or in Coach Prime.

Deion Sanders catches Travis Hunter lying and gives him look of shame

On the latest CBS Sports post on Instagram, four announcers have not chosen the Buffaloes on their college football playoff bracket. Now, it is obvious that they are not on the same level that Georgia, Oregon or Ohio State, but on a 12-team playoff, they have shot, even in many don't believe so.

The reason why they have a shot

Shedeur Sanders is quickly becoming one of the most reliable quarterbacks in the nation as his awareness has improved as well as his accuracy. He has been mentioned in the conversation for the Heisman Trophy but there is another player that takes all the talk, deservedly so.

Travis Hunter is becoming a great cornerback as a well as a very good wide receiver and his style and execution has to do a lot with what Deion Sanders is doing, so it is clear that Coach Prime has a lot to do with the positive changes on the program.

With that said, the rest of the ing cast is good but how good will they become, that is the question. As we are nearing the halfway point of the season and they must have a strong push and remain with only one loss to really be considered for the college football playoff.
