Things are going well for the Colorado Buffaloes, both on and off the field, as a recent video involving Travis Hunter and coach Deion Sanders showed.
The Buffaloes didn't play this past weekend as they are on a bye, giving the coaching staff and players a well deserved break after a busy season to date.
Hunter used the down time to joke around with Sanders, with a video showing the two-way star sneaking into Coach Prime's office and stealing a pair of sneakers he received from NBA legend LeBron James.
However Travis wasn't quick enough to escape the gaze of Sanders, who called out his star player for going "very roguish".
It appears it isn't the first time Hunter has taken shoes from Sanders' office. When asked about the shoes he took from Sanders, including a pair from Ja Morant, Hunter explained why he isn't allowed to take them anymore.
"No, I can't steal those. He a Nike guy. So, I can't get no Jordans off of them. But, when I get to his house, I steal whatever I can," Hunter told ESPN.
The two also enjoyed a fishing trip together, with Hunter posting about it on his Instagram and captioning it with: "Yes, I stole his boat."
Good vibes at Colorado
The playful nature of their relationship highlights the positive environment at Colorado.
Hunter itted there is a great bond between him and the coach,"I know he loves me so much," he told ESPN.
"I mean I went to his house yesterday and whatever I wanted, he was able to just let me get it. I took it if he didn't want me to take it. We have a great bond. I know whenever I need something, I can go, and pretty sure I would get 100% of the time."
Time will tell if this positive environment will help Colorado when they next take the field against Texas Tech on November 9.
