Olivia Dunne is finally be displaced from the top three of the NIL rankings as the Colorado Buffaloes' Travis Hunter catapults ahead of her following his incredible college football season that saw him become the Heisman Trophy winner.
The 21-year-old Hunter's victory, ahead of Ashton Jeanty, came following a remarkable effort that saw him score 15 touchdowns and make 1258 yards as a receiver, as well as adding 45 tackles, 11 deflections and four interceptions on defense as a cornerback.
As a result, he's now leapt ahead of the 22-year-old gymnast out of Louisiana, who was last valued at $4.2 million dollars by On3.com for a total net worth reported to be in the region of $9.5 million.
"The NIL rule changed, that's the day my life changed," Dunne previously said, and now it could be set to change again as she slips down to fourth behind Hunter, Arch Manning and Shedeur Sanders, the latter two being quarterbacks.
Hunter's rise has being meteoric and coincides with the sheer hype he experienced in the latter half of the 2024 NCAA college football season, that has seen him become the tipped first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Only on December 13 did he move up to second with a $5.7 million valuation, weeks after being promoted to third. Manning, at the Texas Longhorns, now occupies that position on $5.5 million whilst Sanders, of the Buffaloes, still leads the way with $6.5 million.
Dunne forced to look over her shoulder
Dunne, meanwhile, will need to look over her shoulder at the BYU Cougars' AJ Dybantsa, who is valued at $3.8 million and is currently rated as the number one player in the 2025 class at just the age of 17.
The small forward from Massachusetts stands at 6ft 9in tall and won the 2024 FIBA U17s World Cup with the USA. He is already projected to be the overall first pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Dunne can hit back and rise up the order though, as her gymnastics season is only just beginning meaning that her hype and star power is only starting its latest cycle. She is a defending national champion with the Tigers.
