- NCAAF. Shedeur Sanders will break hearts at the NFL Draft as a long-suffering franchise pins its hopes on him
One of the biggest stories of the 2024 college football season had nothing to do with a starting player; well, in a way, it did. The Texas Longhorns began the season on fire, asserting themselves as the No. 1 ranked team in the country, but there was trouble brewing behind the scenes. A quarterback controversy - which never ended up being a controversy for head coach Steve Sarkisian - led to starter Quinn Ewers underperforming practically all season, but more so towards the latter half.
During Ewers' injury spell, fan favorite Arch Manning played very well against mediocre competition, but showed flashes of brilliance and did things Ewers simply couldn't do. Ultimately, Ewers and the Longhorns fell a game short of reaching the National Championship. Now, Ewers is jetting off to the NFL, leaving Manning with the proverbial starting job. With the sky as the limit and his fame only getting bigger, Manning has used it to his advantage with an NIL deal with Red Bull.

Manning announced the partnership on his Instagram, in collaboration with the company. He could have just made a graphic or picture, but instead he implored the help of video creator Ari Fararooy to deliver an awesome announcement video.
While a ball floats over Manning's head he takes a sip of Red Bull, catches the ball and then delivers a pinpoint strike through a target some 15-20 yards away. He then puts on Red Bull hat, and the video loops back around.
Fans were loving the marketing move from Red Bull and Manning, which has the potential to be a very fruitful partnership for both.
