Arch Manning isn't just making moves on the football field-he's making predictions, too. The Texas Longhorns quarterback, still waiting for his shot as the full-time starter, isn't afraid to throw a take into the Super Bowlconversation. And this time, it's all about the Kansas City Chiefs.

In a recent interview with Complex Magazine, Manning was asked about the possibility of a Chiefs three-peat. Without hesitation, he backed Patrick Mahomes and company to make history. "I wouldn't count out the Chiefs for sure. Patrick Mahomes is a winner," he said.

That confidence in Mahomes isn't exactly surprising. The Chiefs, who will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, have built a reputation for thriving under pressure. The last time these two teams met on football's biggest stage, it ended in heartbreak for Philadelphia-a 38-35 loss in Super Bowl LVII. Now, the Eagles get their shot at revenge.

For Kansas City, the goal is clear: become the first team since the early-2000s Patriots to win three straight Lombardi Trophies. Their road to New Orleans wasn't smooth, but Mahomes led the way as usual, with a clutch 32-29 win over Buffalo in the AFC Championship sealing the deal. On the other side, the Eagles flexed their dominance with a blowout 55-23 victory over Washington to punch their ticket back to the Super Bowl.

Football is in his blood, but can he call the big game?

Manning, of course, has a direct connection to the Super Bowl spotlight. His uncles, Peyton and Eli, both have rings, and his grandfather, Archie, is a New Orleans football legend. It's only natural that Arch would have strong opinions on quarterback greatness. Later in the interview, he even named Mahomes among his top five QBs of all time.

At just 19, Manning's focus is still on the college game. A former top recruit, he committed to Texas over powerhouses like Alabama, Georgia, and Clemson. His famous last name brings expectations, but his talent has kept fans eager to see if he'll live up to the family legacy.

Whether or not Manning's Super Bowl pick proves right, one thing is clear-he knows the game, and he isn't afraid to put his opinions out there. The real test comes February 9, when Mahomes and Hurts square off once again. If the Chiefs pull it off, Manning might just have a future in predictions, too.

Super Bowl LIX kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox. Streaming will be available for free on Tubi, marking the platform's first time broadcasting a major live event.
