Since 1950, the Senior Bowl has been the final showcase for NFL prospects each season to show themselves to recruiters, scouts, managers, and coaches before the draft. The game brings together the best players in college football and is recognized as the most prestigious NCAAAll-Star game.

This year's roster includes stars such as quarterbacks Oregon's Dillon Gabriel, Alabama's Jalen Milroe, and Notre Dame's Riley Leonard. Most of the rosters are made up of seniors who have already declared for the draft, although the organization also invites some juniors who had a notable season.

For the third year, the Senior Bowl invited two prominent NFL assistants to coach the teams. Cleveland Browns assistant coach Bubba Ventrone will be in charge of the American team, while the New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will take the helm of the National team.
