Fear not, irers of Shedeur Sanders. He doesn't have a girlfriend yet. The Colorado Buffaloes star honors his mother as the 22-year-old lovingly its she's the only woman in his life ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

After throwing for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns in the NCAA through 2024, the quarterback is tipped to be the first in his position selected with the likes of the New York Giants, Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns in need of a new play caller.

Whilst he might not be the first name out of the hat, nor the first Buffaloes' name out of the hat, as that's likely to go to Travis Hunter, he is still a wanted quantity with his stock high ahead of draft day at Lambeau Field in Green Bay in April.

But in a recent Q&A, all eyes turned away from football as he headed to Instagram to confirm whether he has a 'special woman' in his life and the answer is yes, but it might not be how you or Coach Prime thinks it is.

"Does Shedeur have a special woman in his life," asked Darius Sanders on the "2Legendary" podcast. To which Shedeur replied, "Yes, I have my mom [Pilar Sanders]."

Sanders set for NFL curveball

Aspiring WAGs can relax a little knowing that at least one eligible bachelor is still on the market now Joe Burrow seems to be back off it again following his links to Olivia Ponton after the recent break-in at his home.

But for Sanders, it's full steam ahead as he looks to where he will begin his career as a professional football player as the Tyler-born quarterback weighs up his options, with the likes of the Las Vegas Raiders and Dallas Cowboys previously reportedly interested too.

However, despite claims he could even be the overall first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft it seems as though he might not even be the first quarterback called, according to a scout based in the NFC South as per ESPN's Katherine Terrell.

Terrell claims a coach belonging to either the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons or Tampa Bay Buccaneers told her, "Who's the best quarterback? Shedeur's not going No. 1."
