Shilo Sanders claims he is Coach Prime's favorite child, leaving Shedeur, Deion Jr., Deiondra and Shelomi behind

Deion Sanders' son jokingly claims he holds the top spot in their father's heart, but is it really true?

Shilo Sanders claims he is Coach Prime's favorite child, leaving Shedeur, Deion Jr., Deiondra and Shelomi behind

The Sanders family is a tight-knit group, with Deion Sanders, aka Coach Prime, at the helm, guiding both his sons and his football program at Colorado. But when it comes to picking favorites, things can get a little competitive.

Shilo Sanders, one of Deion's football-playing sons, recently made a playful claim that he is his father's favorite child, putting himself ahead of his siblings Shedeur, Deion Jr., Deiondra, and Shelomi.

To the limit! Deion Sanders motivates one of his new Colorado quarterbacks by trying to defend him

His reasoning? A special "gift" for Coach Prime-one that might not have the price tag of some of his brother's presents, but certainly made for a hilarious moment.

Shilo's Unique Gift for Coach Prime

In a lighthearted video on his YouTube channel, Shilo took his father car shopping-but with a twist. Instead of picking out a luxury vehicle, he browsed toy cars, the kind designed for small children to drive around in.

"So for my graduation, I actually got my dad a gift. You know, (for) just being a great dad how you are, you deserve something nice, so I'm here at the Mercedes dealership. And they just brought these out for me to look at to buy you (laughing)."

He then doubled down on his claim to being Coach Prime's favorite, saying: "You know, that's why I'm your favorite son. I always keep my dad in mind, so I appreciate it, pops. I'm finna hook you up with one of these real quick."

While Shilo's gift was all in good fun, his brother Shedeur had a very different approach when it came to showing appreciation for their father-and it involved a much heftier price tag.

Shedeur's Expensive Present for Their Father

Last season, Shedeur Sanders made headlines when he gifted Deion Sanders a $78,000 Audemars Piguet watch featuring a custom Colorado Buffaloes theme. Coach Prime has proudly shown off the luxury timepiece before, leaving no doubt that he was impressed with his younger son's choice of gift.

Between Shilo's joke gift and Shedeur's extravagant present, it seems like there is some friendly competition over who can impress Coach Prime the most. However, beyond gifts, the Sanders brothers have their own unique paths in football, and Deion has made it clear he s both of them, no matter what.

Coach Prime's Honest Take on His Sons' Football Futures

As much as Deion Sanders loves all his children, he is also realistic about their football careers. While Shedeur is considered a top quarterback prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft, Shilo has a more difficult road ahead if he wants to make it to the pros.

Speaking on the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast, Coach Prime didn't sugarcoat things when discussing his son's draft stock:

"Shilo has a situation where he gotta work his butt off to go where he wants to go, you know, whatever round that's gonna be."

He acknowledged that his older son has always had to fight for his place but praised his resilience:

"He's always had it tough... He's resilient, though, so God has always worked with him that way. He's gonna have to really go get it. But I like that."

While Shedeur is already drawing serious interest from NFL scouts, Shilo will have to prove himself on the field to secure his own professional future. But if there's one thing Coach Prime has always emphasized, it's hard work and perseverance-qualities he believes Shilo possesses.
